Wedding Photography Info

To me, film is a magical medium. It captures a moment in time in a way that is truly unique. I chose to shoot with cameras and film that are 50+ years old. I treasure the photographs of my grandparents and the legends like Jim Marshall, Elliot Erwitt and Robert Frank. I want my photographs to feel intentional and have a nostalgic quality that will transcend time. Printed photographs are tactile and when I shoot on film, that feeling is transferred digitally—the colors and grain add a realness and imperfect quality that is just like life.

There is an unpredictable nature to film that makes it truly one of a kind

My approach to documenting a wedding is simple. I see the photographs before they happen, and it’s my experience that allows me to be in the right place at the right time. Rather than staging moments or forcing them to fit a script, I anticipate them. A quick glance, a nervous smile, the way light falls across a room, these are the cues that guide me.

I work quietly, moving with intention but without interruption, so that people remain present in their own story. This lets the day unfold naturally, and my photographs reflect that truth. It’s not about creating a performance, but about preserving something that already exists: the energy, the connection, the joy of being surrounded by your inner circle.

The end result is a body of work that feels timeless. When you look back, I want you to feel the joy, the nerves, the love, everything that made the day yours. My aim is not just to make photographs, but to craft a record that allows you to return to those moments for the rest of your life.

Weddings are filled with fleeting gestures and subtle emotions, and my role is to capture them before they pass.

"From our morning shots in the barber shop, to the pre-wedding, ceremony and reception photos, everything surpassed our expectations. Upon seeing the photos, many guests complimented and inquired further. Daniel's talent and professionalism is what brought our wedding together."

"My husband and I had a truly incredible experience with Daniel"
