This Rosecliff Mansion Wedding in Newport, Rhode Island is one of my favorites. New Year’s Eve 2024 was a magical night filled with love, humor, and, most of all, fashion. Erin Robertson, a talented fashion designer and winner of Project Runway season 15, not only created her own wedding attire but also designed the stunning outfit worn by her wife, Steph. The personal touches in their fashion choices set the tone for a celebration that was as stylish as it was heartfelt.
Steph, a former professional soccer player who competed on the women’s national team, brought her own energy and presence to the evening, balancing elegance with the grounded strength. Together, Erin and Steph were magnetic, surrounded by friends, family, and admirers who came ready to celebrate their love.
Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island provided the perfect setting for the night. Built in the Gilded Age, the century-old home radiates grandeur, from its ornate ballrooms to its sweeping ocean views. As a photographer, it felt like stepping into a film set where every corner begged to be documented. The historic architecture and lavish interiors framed the couple’s modern love in an unforgettable contrast.
Guests matched the opulence of the venue with bold and creative fashion. Sequins, dramatic silhouettes, and personalized details turned the ballroom into a runway of its own. Every glance across the room revealed new textures, colors, and stories woven into what people chose to wear.
For me, the inspiration was endless. Between the love shared by Erin and Steph, the electric energy of New Year’s Eve, and the sheer artistry of the setting and guests, the night was a dream to capture. It was more than a wedding—it was a celebration of creativity, history, and love, wrapped up in the sparkle of a new year’s beginning.
